Carrot Apple Ginger

 

Any kombucha home-brewer will tell you: Ginger is a must in the kitchen. This recipe relies on ginger, but with a twist: Carrot and Apple, which tone down ginger's kick, are added to lend a sweetness to the blend.

Tea base: Assam and Sencha blend
Second ferment ingredients: Fresh-pressed apple and orange juice; ginger juice
