As a sous chef, Glenn Dee was inspired to take his kombucha brewing to another level after an inspired lecture from a fermentation expert. Soon after, he connected with business partner, Scott Lyons, and Kombulicious was born. Using his culinary skills to full effect, Dee focuses on the ingredients by using locally farmed organic produce. This combination of fresh, seasonal produce and crafted kombucha has led to over fifty different flavors: Dragonfruit Mojito, Starfruit Hibiscus and Grapefruit Brulée are among the most unique.
Poached Pear (in the growler on the left) was crisp, smokey, sweet, fizzy and luscious. Pomegranate Acai Clove was fruity and tart, with the added spiciness of clove, and just the perfect accompaniment to a day at the beach.
